Welcome my name is Jeff Parker and I am owner of Uprising Paddleboard Company based in Eugene, Oregon. I am marking 2021 as the year I officially established and launched the company however, I have been selling boards to friends and friends of friends for a few years now. When I tried to buy a board years ago, I had no options locally. I would have had to drive to Portland or Bend to demo or even see a board. The boards being sold at Costco and Dick’s were inferior in construction and their staff had zero education on the products.
I created Uprising to try to build a local paddling community here in the Southern Willamette Valley. My website is now live and I will be adding not just boards and paddles but all kinds of products for the outdoor/paddling lifestyle. :) I am now a member of the American Canoe Assoc. (ACA) and will be re-certifying myself in Flat-water instruction as well as Whitewater instruction. I hope to be certified with at least Flat-water by next season so I can offer lessons to help you advance your paddling skills. Also be on the look out for educational and instructional videos on the website and a lot more content on my blog.
